Would like to comment on a couple of quite amusing postings I have seen recently here in Sai Kung. On the side of our new step (trash) dumpsters is states "Beware of the Shaft" - Service Hotline 2868 0000 (does this have to do with an employment issue?) and in the changing rooms near the tennis and squash courts there is a sign in the restroom that states "No Washing Of Clothes In The Changing Room Toilet" (darn was just trying to save a few bucks!)

It is indeed funny. However it is nothing compared to what you find in the rest of China. For example "Crap in a Hot Pot" on a menu. A local favorite is the "Don't climbing" sign on a tree down the street.

My husband used to take great delight in looking (not much effort required!) for funny entries on restaurant menus. He compiled a list of them - literally hundreds.
