No, but I too want the charms soldered onto my daughters braclet and I am thinking of trying a watch/jewellery repair man.

I had charms attached to my daughter's charm bracelet at Ellis jewellers. I went to the shop in Queen's Road East but have also been to the shop in Stanley. Each time, the jewellers and assistants have been helpful and attentive. I highly recommend them - I can't remember the actual cost for attaching charms but do remember that it was reasonable.

I have a very reasonable workshop I have recommended many times on this site. He even copied the entire COSTUME JEWELLERY brooch for me as it was a favorite and was broken. 2544-2462 Mr Tam. He speaks some English, enough to get the job done. If in a pinch, have a Chinese friend standby on the phone. This is a jewellery shop with a workkshop at the back. Bargaining is not entertained much. You can try but he stands firm. He's on Stanley/Wellington intersection. Rom 107, Welley Bldg, 97 Wellington St. Fx2545-3576

There is a very reasonable Silver shop across from the southhorn playground on fenwick, between johnson and hennessy. Much cheaper than ellis and very helpful, they speak good english too.
