Hi,I just bought an Iphone on 24 month contract from 3.I would like to know can I just change the sim to use it in UK and USA? I dont want to have any roaming charges.

Thanks,I'd also like to know what is the best/cheapest sim to get in the USA to put in my Iphone to call locally and internationally or is it cheaper to buy another phone in USA? The same question applies to UK too?

If you're living in the UK or US, it is cheaper to get a subscription.

If you are visiting, it really depends on the provider at that moment. Also, look into International calling cards. Getting a new phone won't save you a thing. Calling costs the same regardless of the hardware.

Also look for International SIM cards there are multipule options available for different countries. They often provide free incoming calls and cheep outgoing calls to international locations. This way you might not need to keep fiddling with swapping sim card with each new country.

BTW in many countries you can get prepaid sims with data. So you can look into that too.
