bed for toddler

I had the same problem last year my grandson was coming to stay for 2 months we found a good cot bed but mattress was no good so I had one made (it was also and unusal size 160 x 70

from Seahorse it was 10 cm thick and there was at 6 or seven choices ranging from hard to soft You can have any size made you require and it takes about a week. You can also choose the thickness. We got the best quality one and it cost around 600HKD .He slept like a log. Next problem was finding sheets and quilts to fit. Ikea only do cot size quilts or single size quilts and covers which are too small/big for the toddler beds so I purchased a summer and a winter quilt in the sales took them Shenzhen and they cut it down to size then ordered my quilt covers and sheets to fit the new size quilts- Good luck with the move hope you don't get too many restless nights


PS also purchased a lovely throw cover in shenzhen and had that also cut down from a single size to toddler bed size.

Seahorse is in Wan Chai, oposite the MTR entrance on Johnson Road. There may be others, but that's the one I know.


Good for getting odd sized mattresses for Maid's rooms too!
