I am movng to Taiwan from the US - I would like to buy an IPAD. If I buy in the US will it work in Taiwan? thanks.

If you buy the WiFi only version it will definitely work. If you buy the 3G version I believe the cellular bits are locked to AT&T. So you could use WiFi but not 3G.

Just read the warranty carefully. You don't want to have to take it back (or send it back) to the US for an eventual repair. I find that if I am living somewhere it is typically worth it to pay the premium just for service.
