I recently lost my USA passport. I immediately made a lost passport report to the police, and have gone to the USA Consulate and applied for a new passport, which I am waiting to receive by mail.
My question is when i recieve it, do I got to Hong Kong Immigration to get visa stamped in it? My lost passport was 90 days expiring June 28, 2010. Will Hk Immigration give me another visa stamp with same expiration as my lost passport or will they give me 90 days again or aome other time expiration?
Please anyone having experience with this situation, I would greatly appreciate any advice or information you can offer.

You will be chopped wit the same date to remain in HK as in the lost passport...only if you formally ask for an extension OR exit and re-enter will your visa conditions/dates change...
