We used Columbia International for our local move. They were considerably cheaper than the big companies but service and delivery was just as good.

Word of advice re: pricing...
If I had a buck for every moving company horror story posted on the forums I'd be a thousandaire... (we delete them as per our rules)... there are many ways corners are cut including not insuring your goods (a friend lost half his shipment moving from KL to Toronto - try suing a KL company from Canada...) ... adding on extra charges during the move and not releasing your stuff until they are paid... and on and on...
As with all things you generally get what you pay for ... and with moving you only find out that a corner was cut when things go wrong...

Hear hear Ed. I have no problem going for the budget companies when I am moving within HK. My wife, myself and our helper can stand and look over their shoulder throughout the entire process.
As soon as I have to cross a national border, or even go a long distance cross-country, I'd rather pay for the best and not have to worry.
