Hi, I need wisdom again!!
My silly goose is now close to 18 months.
1. she is still on formula alongside with cow's milk. She is still taking at least 500ml a day, I have a feeling that it is more comfort than necessity. She is still taking it from a bottle although she can drink from a cup without any problem, or even a milk box with straw.
2. she has been swaddled until 7 months and graduated into a sleeping bag. Now she has figured out fully how to get out of it which is her favorite activity at 2AM midnight. Especially those zippers that go up and down, oh my.
My question is:
for 1. is this normal? at 18 months, a lot of toddlers are switching to cow's milk only from a cup but, my goose really wants formula from a bottle, not that she hates cow's milk, she will drink it with her meals.
for2 : is it ok to switch to blankets now? If she is escaping from the sleeping bag, I don't see any reason why I should keep on using it..
Thank you for your advises!!

1. just stop giving her the bottle. take it away complete. she'll fuss for a few days, but she'll learn very quickly that it's no longer an option. get her a nice cup she can use to drink out of. even take her to the store to pick one out with some character she likes. it's a comfort thing more than anything.
2. it's ok to switch to blankets anytime you feel necessary. you're the mom! just make sure she's dress warmly at night so even if she loses her blanket at night, she won't freeze.

Blankets are ok. So is a big bed. Both our girls were in a big bed (with rails) by 16 months. Was not really any extra work and we figure it saved a lot of hassle later.
