Hi, I'm currently seeing someone from from work and we would like to keep our relationship hush-hush. Are there any restaurants you can recommend with some privacy where it's hard to be seen, like dimmed lighting or private booths?

Lots of options. What is your budget and where in HK? HK side or Kowloon?

Don't really have a budget, open to all suggestions. What are your best recommendations?

HK side Caprice, Amber, Nicholinis, Wasabisabi (ask to be seated in the non sharing table, they have a round wall, which you can move to avoid being seen), Iroha (Jap cuisine with partitions between tables). How about private kitchens? Very limited amount of audience.

Try 131 in Sai Kung. Beautiful townhouse set next to organic farm and right on the beach. www.one-thirtyone.com

go out to those offshore islands! if someone spots you, chances are they don't want to be spotted too

or you can just wear cool big aviator shades.

There's a place in Causeway Bay. I can't remember the name right now but i'll see if i have their card and get back to you. They have curtains in between tables for privacy. Plus the food is great!
