Ok, this is going to be a long shot ... but always worth a try.
Apparently it's going to be hot and wet this weekend (no jokes please...). Surprise, surprise.
So, we've decided we want to see a show or something this weekend. Inside, and cool.
We've seen Chicago, the Cirque-de-Whatever, and all the good movies (ok, ok, not the A Team..............) currently out. We've checked the Arts Centre, Cultural Centre and Fringe Club websites, along with the websites of the main ticketing agencies. Doesn't seem like there's much on for non-canto speakers that floats our boat. No good concerts in Macau or AsiaWorld Arena. Even HITEC Star Hall is pretty dead this weekend (unless you're into revivalist christian events, or shows about HK people 'finding the legendary Noah's Ark'... yes-WTF??).
Any suggestions? I mean, if it comes to it, we'll happily have a cracking canto meal, a solid drink, and watch the World Cup again. But maybe, just maybe, something's on we should know about....
Thanks in advance.

Thanks - have reviewed that and HK mag, The List, etc. Obviously I'm just here to see if anyone is aware of other shows that may be a little 'off the radar'. One of the best things about this site is that there's plenty of people who've been in HK for ages and know more about what is going on than a lot of the weekly/monthly publications.
As for 'what floats my boat'. Well, yeah, of course some suggestions may not be a match. That's why they are just suggestions. Even if someone posts something not quite up my alley, I'm sure other readers might find them of interest.
Thanks
