4N, sun, beach, relax - no hassle to get to

I have unexpectedly got a break from work and want to go away for 4N/5D - looking for beautiful hotel, beach etc but absolutely key is that the destination should be EASY to get to - no changing planes / stopovers / and within say 3 hour of HK.


I will be on my own so not looking for 'romantic' destination.


Any immediate thoguhts you have would be very welcome.

Koh Samui will be on top of my list. Sanya and Phuket are not far either.

What about Vietnam? Vietnam has nice beaches and is a cheap place to travel in.

you can try checking out thailand's phuket, krabi or china's hainan islands. malaysia's redang and perhentian are also fantastic destinations

Vietnam has ok beaches, but doesn't really have a beach scene like Thailand or Bali. Check out Phu Quoc island, Danang or Hoi An.
