From my understanding, you need to have HD TV but you can buy a HDTV receiver to add on your old TV enabling you to watch these broadcasts. Take note that not all areas in HK can cope with this change.

I've just asked my husband and he says the semi-final game will be held tonight pass midnight at 2:30AM, the second one on tomorrow night pass midnight at 2:30AM and the Final on Sunday night after midnight at 2:30AM.

i believe it was HD ATV...is it possible you don't get it (the Digital Terrestrial HD channels) where you live?
