The only problem that I have with wearing contact lenses is when I'm in an air conditioned room all day, which tends to dry out my eyes. So it depends whether or not you will be working in an air conditioned office all day. I tend to just use them when I'm going out, rather than all day at work.

hmm air con seems to be a very common problem in Hk, as most places are air-conditioned nowadays, such as offices, homes, eateries, shopping centres, etc. I think its best to always bring your eye drops around to lubricate as and when needed. (pretty often for me!)

For those with dry sensitive eyes, I would suggest you use the daily disposables. Somewhat more expensive but you no longer have to deal with cleaning and storing every night. See a registered optometrist (not the same as an optician) to get a proper fitting. I go to Optometric Consultants of Hong Kong 1001 Parker House, 72 Queens Road Central.
