Hi, I'm starting a consulting business where I am in charge of the whole Asian region. So I will need to start making phone calls to many of the Asian countries (China, India, Korea, Taiwan...including Australia). I've Googled "IDD Hong Kong" and came back with so many different plans! (007, 1529, 0060, 1666,0030, and many more!).
My question is, is there anyone out there who would recommend one of the IDD Services?
Cheap and Clear is what I'm looking for in one of these services.
I'm dead set on using an IDD Service, so save the advice that steers me into another direction. Your help from you experts out there is highly appreciated!!! :)
Thanks!!

I use 1529. With a business sign up, there are no up front fees or monthly costs, just pay on a usage basis and you also get your own conference bridge. Sliced our bills dramatically.

1529 Looks like the best, and now I've found some other Expat forums saying they are pretty good. Thanks Spurtio!!!

Please can you tell me which company is 1529 and how to contact them? Is it suitable for domestic use - mostly calls to Asia / UK.
Having been a customer loyally using 1686 for 11 years I now find they arbitrarily cut my credit limit in March by three quarters without informing me (only found out as unable to connect calls for the past 2 days). Have just spent one hour on the phone with them and I can get no logical / rational reason from them - never had an out standing or unpaid bill, story continually changing as to why and manager refusing to speak to me although asked no less than 6 times!
Time for a change - this customer will now vote with her feet!

I JUST signed up for this...but I've read several posts on them and the good service they provide. I would try them out if I were you...it doesn't hurt!!

I also use IDT 1529. It is the cheapest option in HK that does not tie you into a long contract or bundle set amount of usage a month etc etc. I think they are a US based company, so their focus is on the expat destinations and their pricing is lower than the local guys ( used 0060 before). Never had any issue with their quality or my bill in 3 years.
