Hey there, my brother is turning 14, and has recently gone for a check up and the doctor has confirmed that he needs glasses. Anyone knows what is a good kind of specs for a 14 year old boy who is very active?
He plays basketball and roughs it out alot, need something that lasts!

maybe plastic frame glasses with those hooks at the back? plastic frames are hardier than metal ones and it doesn't go out of shape easily.

yea.. i agree that plastic is safer.. dont use those without frame attaching the lenses coz it's more brittle.. but i'll recommend using contact lenses for sports~ it's safer and more convenient~

contact lens are pretty safe. just as long as you take good care of them wash them thoroughly after wearing them and before wearing.

I guess if you are uncomfortable with lenses, you should just settle for spectacles. i'm sure you can find hardy ones in optical shops
