As I only want to receive emails on my BB from a few recognized senders when I travel, and all other mail can sit in the mailbox on my home PC for my return, how do I filter accordingly? Being a thicko, I can't work it out on the CSL1010 filter page or from a basic guide I looked at online, so I'd be grateful if anyone can give me clear, step-by-step instructions. For example, if I temporarily only want emails from, say, johnnydepp@hotmail.com (one can dream) to reach my handset, how would I set that up? Thanks.

not sure how you have your BB set up, mine is linked to work only. but assuming it uses IMAP and not POP. you could set up a filter on your mail account (usually can be done via an internet login to your mail server) to copy relevant mails to a folder called "travel". then tell your BB only to synch that folder. theory of course but maybe gives you a place to start?
