I'm actually thinking of cooking myself now! Does anyone know any simple but good Italian recipes? She's healthy but has a good appetite!!

you are lucky 'cause the supermarkets are filled with ready spaghetti and pasta sauce solutions. Tomatoes in HK are also very good for some reason!
Get pasta sauce and add meat to it. Stir fry the meat with garlic + spices first before pouring pasta sauce into the frying pan. should work. scallops are good too.
And grill the tomatoes! very good way to eat tomatoes.

Thanks! This is a good idea for the main dish. Do you know of any desserts? It's tomorrow so pressure is now on!

You are very sweet for going to all this effort. I'm sure your gf will appreciate it.
I would suggest going to Marks and Spencers and buying some of their frozen desserts and heating them in the oven. They have loads of yummy ones, like self saucing choc pudding, tiramisus, cheesecakes, creme brulee etc.
They also have delicious pasta sauces. I recommend the tomato marscapone sauce, which I cook with some chicken and veges and serve with spinach fettuccine.
Good luck!

Thanks QP - only just seen your reply. I didn't know that M&S did frozen desserts - how did i miss them?! Creme Brulee's my favourite! Right, i'm going to M&S after work! BTW girlfriend loved dinner :) Although, i ended up burning the ends of the spaghetti so i had to cut them off! She didn't notice 'til i told her!
