It's a VERY long running soap set in the Yorkshire countryside. Started back in 1972 and runs six episodes a week. According to Wikipedia theyre up to 5667 episodes.

Used to be a fan back in UK being Yorkshire myself,even visited the set when I was younger many moons ago.Do you remember the 2 guys as the land lords,God forgot their names now..not Alan Turner b4 him was it Mr Wilkes and ????rrrggg forgot may remember later,started in '72 then I was 5&watched it with my Gran knee high to a grasshopper.
Do you watch Heartbeat and the Royal?(the Royal is set where Im from(Scarborough)the NYorks Moor Railway fantastic for both big and little boys...happy days with my older boy :):)wish I could take my younger ones on it:(:( then yummy ice cream at Thorton Dale picturesque thatched cottages ...sigh
