Hi
a few years ago I purchased a walk-up apartment with a roof in the central district.
recently there has been interests in the martket and I'm open to selling the flat. I then was told by one of the agents there is a brothel in a building 2 numbers down the same road and for this reason his client is hesitant. They found an advertisement on the internet.
I am concerned this will affect the marketability of my flat, either for sale or for rental in the future.
1) are brothels legal in HK?
2) if not, is this a police matter?
3) what would make this brothel cease operation?
am I over-reacting?
