We are buying a secondhand car from an expat that is leaving HK and are looking for an automechanic in the Midlevels area to do an independent inspection. Any recommendations?

In Happy Valley is Mr Bennett Lee at Lido Garage. Tel: 9484 6661, 2572 2160 or 2891 9399. Mr Lee speaks good English so it makes it easy. Have used him for all my cars.

Try Tai Yip Motors. 56 Bonham Road. Have used them a few times and found them to be pretty good.
