Yes, providing the model has a blade of less than 3 inches and is non locking.

I had asked a similar question months ago.


There seemed to be two ordinances to concern yourself with. The first, was posted above prohibiting specific martial arts weapons, and those of the specific design as indicated. The second was the general prohibition on possession of deadly weapons that doesn't specifically say knives, but is a general catch-all type law that provides the officer and court great leeway in defining.


From what I have been told, some people and officers will scowl at you and think you are crazy because "why do you need a knife" and some will simply not care unless you are being an a** hole or acting crazy or confrontational.


Most important issue is make sure that the knife you carry is suited for a reasonable purpose depending on your surroundings. An example might be that I won't go carrying my 5 1/4" Tonto Bladed Cold Steel around with me in the city, but might when hiking on Lamma.
