How do I go about taking legal action against my Ex-husband, who owes me money ???

You may either take out a small claim action in the Small Claims Tribunal (for a debt involving HK$50,000 or less) or launch an action in the District or High Court depending on the amount of the claim. Before jumping to conclusions, it is necessary to ask whether there was any marriage settlement (in a written or verbal form) between you and your husband and any financial terms agreed.
