What can i do in KL for 9 hours?

I'm flying from HK back to London and opted for a 12 hour stop over in Malaysia as I've never been and doubt i'll be on this side of the world any time soon.


I arrive shortly after 12pm and want to be back in the airport for about 9:30/10pmish


I have no idea where anything is, so it's a blind mission really, although I've read there are various methods of public transport to somewhere.


What can you suggest I do wish such little time?


If anyone fancies meeting up for a drink or whatever, send me a message. I'll be there sept.11th from 12, although i doubt i'll get out of the airport for another hour.

there're the twin towers in kl, worth a trip up if you want to take in some scenery. other than that, plenty of shopping places and food. gold is also an option as there are some golf courses just a bit out of KL. beware of kl traffic though.

Take the Aerocity Express up to KL Sentral Station, than the Line E and drop off at KLCC station. You are close to Petronas Towers (Twin Towers), the ideal place to look for shelter from the afternoon heat. an they are amazing. If you are into shopping, go to visit also the Pavilion KL shopping mall, with many restaurants and cafe (try Sentido Tapas and Illy coffee shop outside, or look inside the mall for Gelato Mio, a great Italian ice cream).

Around 5 p.m. take the subway again and stop by Masjid or Pasar Seni station. You are close to the islamic area, the little india and China Town. Great food and monuments to check out. Stay over for dinner for great kebab everywhere and I guess your time is over, time to take the subway back to KL SENTRAL STATION and the Aerocity Express again. Enjoy KL! :-)
