I am thinking of getting a fun car, e.g. Mini for my girlfriend, anyone got any good suggestion?

Mini is fun. In HK you're looking for something small and nimble if you want to have fun. Golf GTI (convertible or non), Mazda MX-5/Miata, Honda S2000.

Anyone heard of the Audi A1? is it going to be in HK? Looks like a very decent fun car as well.

The roof on the A1 doesn't come off so not really for me. ;)

I would say Mini, get a convertible. She'll love it. It's a good little run around car and easy to park. P.S. Your GF is lucky you are buying her a car. I'm sure she'd be happy with anything!

willie_will, I suppose it is a matter of taste. I don't really like the look of the Mini much myself. Having said that, the Cooper S is definitely fun to drive.
