Could anyone tell me if it's possible to get a British passport extended in Hong Kong. My passport only has 4 months until expiry and I need it for urgent travel to a country that requires 6 months.

Just go to British consulate, opposite Conrad Hotel in Central, and you can get you passport renewed. they have the forms there or you can find there website online and download one. It is about 10 working days at the moment, my husband got his in 6days, If you turnup there about 8.30am with 2 photo's without specs,if you wear them,and awhite background, and tell them you want it urgently, they'll probably do it even quicker.

The airline told me it's possible to get an extension which would be even faster, just not sure if this is available in HK. Thanks again.
