Does anyone know where to get the metal insert for a rice cooker as mine is all scratched up?

I'm probably wrong (I hope so) but I'd imagine it's probably not worth it to manufacturers/retailers to sell the inserts separately as the cost of the whole unit is relatively inexpensive anyway (think Japan Home Stores, Wing On etc. where you can get a small decent one for under $200) - compared to other pieces of kitchen equipment, e.g. a bread machine, for example - so consumers would expect to just discard the unit and buy another one.

If this happens to me I would find out the distributing agent of the rice cooker's brand in HK. Call them up and give them the model number or measurements of your insert. Sometimes they do have stock and you could just purchase it.
I tried walking into a large local consumer electronic store to get the details of the distributing agent or the company's contacts of your rice cooker.
