I'm flying to the US next week and have been told that I either need to get a TSA lock or leave my checked luggage unlocked. I'm not comfortable leaving my luggage unlocked, so will get a TSA lock.
Does anyone know where in Hong Kong they're available to buy?

A lock shop in C.C. Wu Building, 302-308 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, has them. I can't remember which floor it was on but if you're entering the building from Hennessy Road it's on the right hand side towards the back. There's not that many shops in there so you should be able to find it easily enough.

You don't need a special trip, almost anywhere that sells luggage locks will have them, just look for the letters TSA with some numbers on the bottom next to a small keyhole. For example, pretty much every Samsonite lock will have them. Any dept store that has a luggage section (Sogo, Wing On) should do the trick. Be sure to get a self-setting combination one, if you get one that loses a key you are pretty much guaranteed to lose the key on the first trip or before taking your next trip.
