I keep hearing about hair masks, is it similar to the VO5 hot oil hair treatment?

Whereabouts can I get a good but not overly pricey hair mask?

Conditioners are primarily designed to coat your hair, therefore allowing the hair to be combed through easier. Hair masks are designed to enter the hair shaft and lock in moisture. Hair masks do help re-address dry and abused hair, whilst maintaining a correct moisture balance.

Either go to any professional salon, and ask for a recommendation from their retail stock, or any good pharmacy sells all the well known brands.

Honestly, just use the ONES produced by Lux or Dove - they work very well. They may not smell as fresh as expensive ones but the effect is really good.

Or...even cheaper - Sleep with oil in your hair overnight?!

That also works very well Joanniee.

Sweet Almond or Coconut is usually best, used on unwashed hair then shampooed in the morning.

Oo i got a thumbs up from Philip George! I always get them mixed up. Is Olive oil good for dryness and Coconut oil for shine?

I m using L'Occitane. Around 27 USD. VO5 is useless.
