Fortress has all that stuff except the cutlery. Wing-On has everything.

Plates & Cutlery - IKEA is very affordable in Causeway Bay. For electrical appliances, Broadway do a good selection, and they have a big store in Times Square or the Pan Handler in Princes Building.

Wing On in Sheung Wan has electrical supplies and a good houseware department.

Hope this helps. The Community Advice Bureau (CAB)

theres also a street in mongkok thats called shanghai street, this place has heaps of gear you'll find handy at much less prices of wingon fortress or others when talking about bowls cutlery etc.

scroll down to history of shophouses.

this whole area is actually quite funky, and if you're up for it you could spend a whole day going in and out of groovy little shops. bargaining is also not a drama!

unless you're like the 95% of expats that think the dark side has nothing to offer! whahhhahaa........

as for toasters/kettles etc, buy at fortress or wing on so you can return if it breaks!

happy shopping.
