HKID for immigrant 4 years kid

We are immigrant to Hong Kong. As an adult member, we will get Hong Kong ID. But what should we do for my kid of 4 years. I heard there is some registration but fail to get information.

Agreed with cara, but while we are at it: Immigrant how? Work permit? In that case your kid will get a visa in their passport. That should do it.


No HKID until 12 years of age (or 13, I forget)
