Flying to Calgary - HELP please

I am trying to organise my very first trip to Calgary to see a friend from Hong Kong. Can anyone give me an insight as to which would be the cheapest route to fly there. From my research its only Air Canada and Cathay that fly there. Just wondering if anyone has done this trip can help me out. I have 2 young children to fly with so need onboard entertainment for that length of time. Trying to fly over Chinese New Year as it fits with school holidays.


Really appreciate some advice.

I guess if you fly with Air Canada would be much easier. HK -> Vancouver -> Calgary. Cathay only flys to Vancouver then you need to buy domestic flight to Calgary which operated by Air Canada. Diff. airlines airfare would be expensive plus other troubles. Try to log on Air Canada's website and buy airticket. The earliest you book the cheapest you get (it listed the time schedule with comparing price as well). hope that helps.

Hey thanks Cara. I am trying to meet up with a friend from Db who moved to Calgary to take the children skiing for the first time over CNY.


By the way how did the dentist go in Bangkok? Did you go to Hua Hin (one of my suggestions)
