I have just returned from the UK where I bought my 14 month old wonderful Hush Puppies shoes. They measured the length and width of her foot to ensure a proper fit and they have been great. She is rapidly growing out of them though...I could buy the next size up online but I'd prefer to find somewhere in HK that can measure her as she grows (instead of waiting for my annual UK holiday!) There used to be a Clarks shoe shop in Ocean Terminal when I was a kid. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Dr. Kong measures in its various shops.
Frankly though I prefer Ecco shoes for our kids. Dr. Kong tend to be quite stiff.

Start-rite shoes can be found in Footstop. To the best of my knowledge it is the only shop in Hong Kong with properly trained staff who ensure that children's feet are measured correctly and shoes fitted properly. In fact I don't think they will sell you shoes over the counter as they insist that children are fitted there and then.

Footstop closed down permanently a few years ago.

Wow, thanks for bringing this thread back. I had a pair of Elle shoes given to my 15 month old last year which she started to wear 2 months ago. I always felt it was a bit too "solid" for her because she was just starting to walk.
Saw this thread and researched Start Rite. Start Rite has a shop over in Ocean Terminal. I bought my toddler her shoes there and she loves it. So many styles except only two were her size. They also carry Robeez shoes which is another brand that was highly recommended in another forum. Toys R US sells Robeez shoes except the beautiful ones are quick to run out so it was nice to have more designs at Start Rite.
They haven't started selling sandals for the summer so I think I'll be back there pretty soon!
Start Rite isn't the only shop that measures kids feet. Dr Kong also does this. When I was at the Start Rite shop and wanted summer sandals, they told me to go to Dr Shoes, opposite their shop which apparently is another good brand for kids' shoes.
