Is it easy to date with Hong Kong girls? I mean a long term and stable relationship:)
As I'm new to HK (Asia), and just started to have a good feeling for my colleagues. She's a local girl. But seems the so-called "culture gap" really exists.
I felt really excited to talk with her in the beginning. But it turns out become a bit awkward when we share some value, especially when we talk about friends and family. I do believe she feels the same way as me. And my jokes do not work well...
Anyway I am totally into her now. For friends who've been here for a while, any experiences or suggestions to share?

Well, I know some girls who are local HK, and I think the problems you mentioned above are just normal since absolutely big differences exist between western and eastern countries. As far as I know, Hk girls are considerate and nice, they are easy to get along with. So just talk with the girl directly if any confusion exsits. I promise you two could work this out.

I saw many couples are one foreign guy and one local girl in Hong Kong. Don't worry too much about the cultural gap. I believe you may needa change the ways you think first. Sometimes it's good to share different culture with people from other countries and appreciate her countrie's culture as well. You should show you passion to know more about her, her friends, her interest, and her culture as well if you really want to date with her.

anyway, do you know hobbies of the girl? Movie? Sport? Shopping?

Most of the HK girls prefer to go for a movie on the first date. You may try that first and have a nice dinner with her afterwards.
