When is it a good idea to push your child in school? What are the signs that you should back down? Share your experiences making these decisions or just tell us what you think.

You should read the book Ish. I am a mother and teacher. I think the best thing to do is nudge your child. Pushing only leads to a burnt out child that doesn't have intrinsic motivation to do well. When a child had melt downs and tells you they are doing too much that's when you back down.
