Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find out if a car has finance over it? and also if there is any outstanding fines/tickets outstanding?

If a car has outstanding finance on it, the "owner" would not be in possession of the original Registration document, only a copy.

For fines, I would assume that they would still be the seller's responsibility - any fines incurred after transfer of ownership becomes buyer's responsibility
