Satellite TV

I look for an alternative to cable tv, any of you has experience with Satellite TV in HK? Does it work, what are the costs, any name of a satellite tv provider?

The only real coverage you get with a dish is the Thai service "Vision TV" or something like that. It is exactly the same as what you get on NOW TV but a bit more expensive. They stopped the footprint from South Africa in May this year and that was worth it for the sports as they showed basically everything except WORLD Series and other American fodder. I now have a dish pointing at nothing and subscribe to a limited NOW TV package which has really poor coverage. Can you believe the repeatedly show re-runs of horses jumping over fences at peak times and show the re-run of the F1 grand prix at 9 in the morning. They also have ad breaks during motor races which usually means ine misses an overtake or incident
