Hi, I'm looking for a vacation rental in Thailand or Philippines for 4-5 adults and 2 kids (ages 1 and 2) and would like to rent a house. It would need to be baby-safe (no open stairwells, balconies with wide slats, deep pools, etc.). We are flexible about destination. Any ideas on (1) destinations, (2) available houses, and/or (3) resources for researching this? Thank you!

I am not sure if you have already found somewhere but we have a luxury villa in Phuket available over the Christmas period. Not sure of your budget but have a look at www.sapphire-villa.com and see if it is suitable!
Its child friendly as although it has its own pool, there is a pool guard that can section off the pool from the main living area.

Hi, I would recommend Thailand. North of Phuket is a slowly developing region. Try somewhere like Koh Phra Thong for something very unique and a piece of Thailand 20 years ago. Its an island with beautiful untouched beaches. There are some house to rent. Use www.kohphrathong.com as a resource for some info. Also Khao Sok is pretty good for jungle types of trips. You would just need to search about for places to stay.

Phuket nice place been there a month ago. Try boracay Philippines it's also cool and were planning to go back again first week of march. There's a lot of place to stay there try monacco they have nice view lingayen too it's better u go if it's not pick season. Cheaper and not crowded .. If you want to find some nice cute. Nipa hut apartment It cost 300 hk depends really on your budget. What were goin to do is go to the island and find place to stay when we get there cheaper and big discount. Try coron palawan. They have website to they call it wow Philippine they Have lots of budget travel

I'd say Philippines. Philippines has a lot of tourist attractions which you will be having fun and also be amazed. You can visit Palawan or Boracay or Panglao. You can also experience zip lines in Bukidnon and white water rafting in CDOC. They are actually in the southern part of the Philippines.
Bangkok would be a good place but never really had the chance to visit other beautiful resorts.

I've holidayed in Thailand and the Philippines so many times I've stopped counting.
It depends on your budget and your needs.
I prefer Amanpulo to Anampuri. I prefer Malapascua to Phi Phi. Diving in the Philippines is way better. Food isn't, unless you know what to request.
