My friend has a 4 y.o. boy who is attending kindergarten, but also needs some additional after school activities. His mom is a working mom and she wants to find him a place where they offer some physical activities, arts and crafts, and storytelling.
Does anyone know a of a good place she can send him a few days a week? They live in Central where there is a lot of choice, but does anyone have good firsthand experiences they'd like to share? Thanks!

My child enjoyed Anastasia Art House (Not so much craft but artwork) which is around the Mid Levels area and Soccatots at the YWCA (McDonnell Road). The Y does a lot of afterschool activities for kids at a very reasonable price. But you have to book on the first day they open for each season's booking as places fill up fast.

i attended an open house at a new children's center called cosmo kids a couple of months ago. they offer children ages 3 to 6 a number of activities and class in arts, movement and storytelling on weekdays and saturdays. good luck!

hi odie18, the center is located at mid-levels on caine road. their website is cosmokids.net so you can check them out. they run programs from children in the areas of behaviorial and social development skills as well. hope this helps!
