dangerous juicer

I bought two 'moulinex juicemachine's at the same time at fortress, just over 2 years ago, they were working fine at the start but occasionally they grind the shuttle cover, at the bottom of the chute, or the feeding base that the blade rests on, leaving pieces of plastic mixed in the juice. hazardous. l went up to the service department about 5 times, each time to get it 'sorted'

each time the juicers were ok for a while but they now always grinds the shuttle cover chute now, who should I complain to as Moulinex shouldn't be selling such dangerous juicers. Both juicers are like that.

Go to the consumer council and lodge a complaint.

Yes, have done, thanks. Also contacted moulinex about it. they shouldnt be allowed to sell such dangerous juicers to anyone, especially us the trusting customers. When i went to fortress about it, they told me to go the service center which l did. But l chaecked their display models and they were the same. ie the bottom of the chute where you feed fruit and vegetables into were also grinded by the blade.

These juicers are obviously poorly made, no doubt at low standards in China. grinded plastic mixed in any juice can only be hazardous to one's health

nixodian, nearly all consumer goods are made in PRC these days. Yes you have a problematic juicer that's a design fault or part of a bad batch which QC failed to pick up on; so don't start making racist comments like "obviously poorly made, no doubt at low standards in China" as if all goods coming out of China is second grade. Bottom line, it's only a juicer, don't lose sleep over it -should've bought a Braun in the first place.

I also have a Breville juicer, had for almost a year, was great at start , but now as dangerous as your moulinex juicers. Theres a burning plastic smell and smoke comes out the black blade adapter, which juice collector and blade sits on. Thing is I don't have the receipt anymore :( would sogo accept it back

I rhink all centrifugal juicers are dangerous, my Breville also has unevenly worn plastic at bottom of chute from grinding against the blade
