Need Advice on Black & White Ball!

I know it sounds a bit cliché, but my work is organizing a Black & White Ball next month. As our company likes to overdo things, it has been quite a big deal among my colleagues (especially the gals!). I’m a bit nervous as I’ve never attended a ‘ball’ before, and I don’t know what to expect. And then the dresscode..! What to wear? All white? All black? A combination of those two?

BUT! The thing is that I’m taking my boyfriend as a date and he is going to rent a black tuxedo. Is it a no-no for me to wear black too then? I saw some examples of celebs going black and white, but never as both in black. I found some white dresses that I like, but I’d really rather go in a black dress. What do you think?

Why don't you wear something in a black and white combo? its a lot easier. Have you looked at the gowns at the Beverly Centre in TST East?

Im guessing your will wear a white shirt under his tux and you could pin a white flower on a black dress.
