We are looking to book a ski holiday and wondering which of these resorts is most recommended?

We are looking for somewhere that has good apres ski (think Europe apres ski!!) mainly with plenty of variety of runs for all levels of skier.

Thank you!

Go to Europe. It's different out here.

Niseko has many Australian owned and operated hotels, bars, restaurants, ski schools, shops etc and is probably closest to a European reseort in Asia. It attracts many Asian based expats, Japanese and Australians which makes it seem more European. The ski runs cover all skiing levels but is only made up of one mountain so a decent skier will probably cover all the terrain after a week or so.

We are heading to Hakuba this winter partly for a greater variety of trails and runs and also hoping it will be a little more Japanese - will report back in a couple of months.
