Switching out the PCCW router

Hi guys,

Has anyone had any luck switching out the PCCW router for something a bit more robust? I tried using my Billion but it complains it cant sync the ADSL line. There are a bunch of options but not sure which would work for PCCW (if any). I left everything set to auto/auto.

The problem with the PCCW router is that it is actually an integrated router and modem. So your off-the-shelf router can't do the modem bit.


I never went for the PCCW router part and only have the PCCW modem. My Buffalo router works fine with it.

I have an ADSL Router which I brought back from Australia as they are common there. So its an integrated setup.
