Hi Ladies
I wanted to get some advice
I am planning my wedding to be held in Thailand next year
I have always wanted to have a child free wedding as don't like the thought of kids running around, crying etc at the quiet times and generally feel that my wedding should be an adult affair
The issue I have is a lot of my friends now have kids infact probably half of all the couples we will invite... particularly small kids
We are both Brits and a lot of our friends will travel from the UK or HK to Thailand for a holiday as well as the wedding... Is it insensitive of me to still want to have this a child free wedding ?
I can feel that I may have some conflict if the invites go out stating no kids and also feel some people may just not come
What would you do ?

if your wedding will be held in a resort, you can plan something for kids. as most of the resorts in thailand have kids club and they will be taken care by the staff.

Good idea mimi72. I think that you are perfectly within your rights to state no children at the wedding - it is after all, your day! I know it seems a bit rude, but as someone with a child, I would not at all be offended if an invite stated no kids. You are right, it may stop some people from coming, but if you make some special kind of arrangements - either kids club or baby sitting service etc then people can make their own choice! If they don't come because they can't bring their children then that is something you may have to live with. Work out, will it upset you more if those people are NOT at your wedding....or if their kids are?!
Good luck!
