IPhone 3GS or Blackberry bold 9700?

Please I need your opinion on this. I am buying one for my hubby and couldnt decide which to buy. Some people say that the BB 9700 is a better choice. Help!!!! Thanks.

Both are good devices. It totally depends on usage. If you type a lot, for example for work, the BB is superior. However the BB is much more of a business oriented device. The iPhone is more all-round.


BB advantages.

- Probably more likely to survive a drop.

- Typing is WAY faster.

- Email client is faster to use once you learn it.

- Excellent calendar client.

- Much better battery life.

- SD slot.


iPhone advantages.

- Way better music/movie player.

- A zillion apps including games, restaurant tips, conversions, reference, etc etc etc.

- Sucky built-in calendar client, but the Informant app pretty much bridges the gap.

- No built in tasks client, but again Informant works.

- Bigger screen.
