I'm going to paint the walls of our flat. Every flat I have ever lived in has had terrible paint that comes off the walls when you wipe them. I have kids so want durable paint that allows for walls to be wiped down. Can anyone suggest if this type of paint exists in HK?
Also, when have been in our previour flats they have always used brushes. Are paint rollers available here? Makes painting much quicker and gives a more even finish in my opinion.
Thanks!

Agree that the paint quality the landlords put in here in HK is often terrible.
Try ICI Dulux paints. Either "Lifemaster 9000" or "Gold" varieties (depends which color you pick). Both are fine and have very little smell while you paint. They don't come off when you wipe but you might need multiple layers if the base coat is porous. You might want to buy some cheaper base coat paint and use that first.
There are several stores in HK but not all have the mixer on site. 163 Jaffe Road in Wan Chai is good.

Lockhart Rd in WanChai has many paint stores where you can buy supplies - large brushes, small touch up brushes, rollers, etc.

Forgot to mention that in the store on Jaffe Rd they have rollers. Make sure you ask for the "extra fluffy" ones though as the standard ones suck.
