The DVD unit inside an all-in-one desktop is typically a laptop model. Shouldn't be any problems replacing. In any case a disc not ejecting can be caused by many things. Replacing the DVD player is way down on the list of troubleshooting steps.

For a great all-in-one, get an iMac.

iMac is my recommendation as well. Comes with a built-in DVD reader/writer, camera for skyping, speakers for audio, bluetooth for cordless keyboard and mouse, wi-fi and a great screen. Everything just seems to work well together. Lot more expensive than PC but worth it in my opinion. And very pretty face too.
