Hi all,
Just wanted to ask a few inputs from those who are familiar. I am flying into Shenzhen airport (from Shanghai) and am looking for ways to get me from here across the border to near the Hong Kong Airport (I'm staying at the SkyCity Marriot which is I believe right beside the Hong Kong Airport).
Maybe also some feedback on how to get to and from Shenzhen airport-Hong Kong Central.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
There is a bus in the Shenzhen airport that will take you to the HK airport. Its about 100 rmb. Just follow the signs (in english).
It sounds daunting now, but once you land in shenzhen airport you'll see its easy..

Got it, and how about clearing immigrations? That a hassle at all?

Immigrations is the same at all borders. same china immigration guy/girl that looks really mean and bored, then the same HK immigration guy/girl that looks bored but not mean haha....
just the weird part is the once you're on the bus (once you physically leave the SZ airport), there will be a security guard that comes on board the bus and then video tapes everyone on the bus, person by person and then leaves.. strange eh?

Anyway so I get on the bus, then the bus stops at the boarder where we all get off, clear things with the immigration ppl, get back on the same bus and head on, right?

Yep et on the bus, bus drives about 30 mins to a border check point. (this border is a quiet and new) the bus will wait for your as they count everyone on the bus before taking off. and then voila. arrival at the different stops.
