Where to get mobile phone repaired?

I have an old(ish) Nokia that needs repairing (some buttons wont respond) Where can I take it to get it fixed?

On the Island, try Mr. Mobile Phone on Times Square or Sanda Technologies on the corner of O'Brien and Johnston (by the Wan Chai MTR).

I am familiar with these places mentioned by axptguy. But I caution to avoid them. As conspicous a place as those, they have many PRC visitors, tourists that go there. They are expensive. But they also don't entertain complaints if they don't do a good job. I would go to the residential enclaves where they serve repeat customers. On HK side, I would go to North Point, Fortress Hill for reliable service. They don't want to see miserable residents in the neighbourhood returning to cry foul. I would trust them more.


I go to the side street of Intnl Christian Assembly (church), you can find that on the signboard at the mtr exit. There are a couple of these selling new as well as rebuilt phones. They don't charge a lot, and they give gurrantee. But on top of that, they want repeat bss from their neighbours in the area.


Same Nokia phone was quoted in those Wanchai, CWB shops for $380 for repair. This NP shop quoted $280 with a gurantee (2 weeks).


My helper bought 2 rebuilt phones from them, and they were very durable, lasted for years.

My phone returned completed fixed ! And all the data in my phone book is intact.


I am very happy with this store. Chinese name is pronounced Xun Dat (English name is Message Technology, but doubt they use this on a day-to-day basis). Tel 2590-9798. Address is 475 King's Rd but it's actually on Kam Hong St, accross from the Intnl Christian Assembly (Church). V easy to find. Cost $280. It would have costed easily double this at Nokia. Fone stores in CWB, Wanchai quoted $380 and probably announces they cannot fix it AFTER getting my money and 3 out of 3 I went said there is no way the directory data is salvageable. So glad they were wrong !


I have downloaded the directory data now.


Most phone stores claim that the phone can be replaced but the directory data will DEFINITELY be gone. I am so glad I did not listen.
