Since it opened in 2008, the biggest knock against Island Tang has been that it serves Chinese food adjusted for Western palates.
The restaurant is certainly expatriate-friendly — the wait staff is bilingual and the English and Chinese menu stays away from things that might intimidate non-Chinese diners, such as sea cucumber or tripe.
But is the food any good?

I love westernised Chinese food. can't get enough battered sweet and sour pork balls, crispy shredded beef and really miss them here. Anyway at least it is something different , not just another Chinese restaurant. Hope they do deep fried bananas!
