Celebrating losses

Just been reading about Disney celebrating that they haven't lost as much as in previous years. A loss of $718m this year.

Standard Newspaper 19-Jan "The net loss dropped 45 percent year on year to HK$718 million for the 12 months to October 2. It was HK$1.315 billion in 2009 and HK$1.574 billion in 2008."

They have been operating for over 5 years and are still experiencing major (in my opinion) losses.

Do they still have any link/owe anything to the HK government? If they are still making losses does the HK government still get a return? or are we the tax payer, still subsidising a loss making enterprise?
